SOME FREE SUGGESTIONS TO SUPPLIERS
1.

When sending a cover letter or any letter to a distributor,  proof read your letter for grammar, spelling and typographical errors.  We are in the imprinting business.  It’s scary to receive a letter or any form of communication that contains obvious errors. This is a RED FLAG to a distributor.

2.

Many product descriptions in catalogs refer to business clients.  For instance, a sample product description  found in an actual industry supplier catalog reads as follows:

“This product gives you the most convenient way to get your magnet into your customer’s hands”.

But the distributor is not selling this to a business client.  They're selling it to an association who has members, not clients.  Or maybe they are selling the product to a school or university who has students, not customers.  Or maybe they are selling it to a hospital who has volunteers, not customers.
