Barbara is one of the co-founders of Jansco Inc. (www.janscoinc.com) , a $2 million dollar promotional products distributorship now headquartered in Glen Ellyn, IL.  Barb sold Jansco Inc. in January 2001 to her family and is presently serving as their consultant.

Barb started in the promotional products industry in 1960.  Before starting Jansco with Joe Morys in 1972, she worked for 6 promotional products firms in a managerial and sales position.  She attained her Certified Advertising Specialist (CAS) designation in 1980.

In 1998 Barb was recognized as one of 15 Outstanding Women Pioneers in the Promotional Products Profession by The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI).  This was the first year that ASI honored women in the industry. This distinction is presented to women in the industry whose demonstrated leadership and innovation have contributed to the success and growth of the promotional products industry.

During her 40 years in the industry, she served as President of the  Specialty Advertising Association of Chicago (now Promotional Products Association of Chicago).  Barb also served on various committees for PPAInternational and judged the IMRA Gold Key Awards for several years.

Barb is Past President of the Rotary Club of Chicago O'Hare.  She was the recipient of the Rotarian of the Year Award in 1993.  

In 1987, Barb was awarded the prestigious Circle of Honor Scholarship Award by the Specialty Advertising Association of Chicago.
